Class in Session... (Poem by BlaqcRain)

 Visions of me trying to steer clear of all the ego trippin/

Making my dreams come true as a reality is what I envisioned/ 

But in the process I have found another reason for living/

Because, we haven't taught our future about the past and what lies in its path/

Babies having babies while trying to finish middle school's little task/

Where, the topic of discussion is whether or not "so and so" is talking trash/

Maybe contemplating if they should knuckle up and whoop they ass/

But can you blame them? They are only projecting what they have seen thru the glass/

Their own eyes have witness everything from child birth to the casket/

Their friends die younger and their enemies grow stronger to make this world last shorter/

Homosexuality is "okay", as long as its 2 sexy women kissing on the corner or two guys talking about decorum/

The people who should care are to worried about 2015 and how to make a DeLoran/

But if they went into the future they would see it doesn't exist/

The government is to busy selling pipes dreams to they own people and giving free education to foreigners/

But no child left behind as long as they aren't the last souls in line/

Then they wonder why the poverty line dropped and everybody is standing in a line/

Most of you don't realize our future is in our present/

So, if you dont do something and act this second then, when the times comes there wont be a lesson...The future will already be in session...

Root of All Evil

People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

1 Timothy 6:9-10


These verses hit me when I read it because, I feel that people are way to concern with getting rich and loving money. As it says in verse 10, "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil". I do not think people realize what humans will do to each other for riches. Not just to each other but, their own flesh and blood to achieve something that you cannot take with you when you die. It seems everybody wants the 2 things that bring upon destruction to our world. Can anybody name it? Yes, its "Money" and "Power". These 2 things will turn the world upside down because people think that once you get the money you have the power and, once you have the power you have the respect. But, where does your respect for people begin and end at? When do you say enough is enough? Because, on that road to getting to the money,being rich, you begin to awake entirely different beast and that's your urge to have power! So I ask again, when does your need for power stop? Are you using your power for good? The way you got that power, did you sell out your moral values in what you believe in to get that money and power? These are the things that god is talking about and the questions you have to ask yourself and pray that, everything you do is in his name and not in the deeds of evil.

Just as there are thin lines between love and hate. Those same thin lines apply to good and evil. Those are the choices that are the hardest and a struggle to walk a good life in this world.
